PanPastel Challenge 20 - New Beginnings

Hi all here is my DT Design for this week over at PanPastel Uk.The theme this week is New Beginnings you can interpret the theme however you like.Our sponsor is Your Creativity Store and the prize is a trial set of PanPastel.

I began my design by placing a mask over a piece of card...

I then used a versamark pad keeping the mask in place I covered the sticky ink with PanPastel

I then added a heart again coloured with PanPastel

The Gorjuss image was coloured using Graph'iT

The sentiment stamp is where my New Beginnings are it's something I didn't do for a very long time.... but I now always follow my heart  hence the New Beginnings anyhoo enuff waffle from me !!!!

For my project is decided to alter a Pen Pot ...

I used Maimeri Gesso to prime....

added Pink Panpaastel

Then stamped each side and added embellishments made with Graph'It markers, Maimeri Mediums and craft stash.

Bird House

Hi all ...

Here above is my latest altered piece I am going to hang it in the garden when we move !!!

I picked this little beaut up in our local 99p store..

I added a layer of Maimeri Gesso first to give a smooth base.

I then covered the whole box using one sheet of scrapbook paper.I then added another layer of Maimeri Gesso.

Once dry I applied some soft coloured PanPastel all over to warm it up a little.

Finishing it off with the resist technique and Panpastel.

PanPastel UK Challenge Blog DT Project #17 - Dreams

Good morning oops Good afternoon.... Well I am not quite sure what has happened but my post went live on time but my write disappeared spooky !!!!So I am here doing it all again lol...

The challenge this week over at PanPastel Uk Challenge Blog is Dreams you can interpret this in any way you want to.Our sponsor is as usual Your Creativity store.

For my DT Project i decided to alter a canvas

To begin a fixed the canvas with a Maimeri Gesso Wash...

I chose one of the new stencils from Pronty available to buy HERE.and seen on Create & Craft

I popped the stencil on the canvas then used my Maimeri Light modelling paste over the top

Once it was dry I went crazy with left over PanPastel which was on my Sofft Tools available HERE .

Then I grunged it a little using a Black Graph'IT Marker available HERE.

I finished off by using a Lavinia Stamp coloured with Graph'It Marker and sentiment stamp.
